Welcome to Milkman. These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Milkman governing your use of our website, dashboard web portal, and our mobile applications (available on Android and iOS) (collectively, the "Service").

By registering for an account, installing the mobile application, or accessing the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue using the Service.

1. Description of Service

Milkman provides a free, cloud-synchronized digital ledger, route management, inventory tracking, and billing solution for independent milkmen, staff delivery teams, and dairy distributors. The core software features, including PDF ledger generation, offline database operations, and M2M network sync, are provided 100% free of charge.

To keep the Service free, we display third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense and Google AdMob on the web portal and mobile app interfaces.

2. Registration and Account Security

To access software tools, you must create a user account. You agree to:

• Provide current, accurate, and complete registration information (name, business profile, phone number).
• Protect your password and restrict device access to secure your account.
• Accept full responsibility for all activities, data logs, and billing logs entered under your credentials.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access or breach of security.

3. Mobile Device Features & Permissions

To enable key functionalities on the mobile application, you agree to grant the required permissions on your device:

• Camera: Used to scan QR codes for quick payments or profile setup.
• Microphone & Speech APIs: Used solely to process voice commands and convert speech-to-text input to quickly document daily milk deliveries. We do not record or share raw audio.
• Location Services: Used to map customer addresses, calculate route pathways, and verify delivery locations. Disabling location services may restrict route optimization features.
• Bluetooth APIs: Used to discover and pair with portable Bluetooth thermal printers. You are responsible for procuring compatible printer devices.

4. Third-Party Integrations & Messaging

Our Service provides a shortcut integration that generates pre-formatted billing summaries and launches them directly via your device's native WhatsApp application or third-party SMS networks.

• No Affiliation: Milkman is an independent software tool and has no official partnership, endorsement, or business affiliation with Meta Platforms Inc., WhatsApp, or Twilio.
• Messaging Compliance: You are strictly responsible for all communications sent to your customers. You must comply with local telecommunication rules and anti-spam guidelines. Milkman is not liable if your WhatsApp number or account is banned, suspended, or flagged as spam due to high messaging volumes.

5. Advertising Policies & Code of Conduct

Our Service relies on advertisement impressions to cover hosting costs. You agree to adhere to a strict code of conduct:

• You must **not** perform, encourage, or coordinate invalid clicks on the advertisements displayed in our web portal or mobile app.
• You must **not** use bots, scrapers, auto-clickers, proxy servers, or ad-blocking software to manipulate, block, or generate fraudulent ad revenue.
• Self-clicking on ads in an attempt to support the Service is flagged as fraudulent activity by Google and will result in immediate and permanent termination of your account.

6. Billing and Tax Disclaimers

Milkman provides digital calculation tools, custom tax templates, and ledger logs for convenience. However, you acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for setting, calculating, and declaring appropriate taxes (GST, local taxes) on your client invoices.
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all invoice amounts, milk counts, unit rate overrides, and total ledger tallies before sending them to customers.
• Milkman is **not** a financial advisor or registered banking institution. We hold no liability for discrepancies, tax audits, or financial losses caused by software calculations or incorrect data entry.

7. M2M Connections and Disputes

Our Milkman-to-Milkman (M2M) network feature allows users to link accounts, sync delivery entry records, and trade routes. If you use M2M networking:

• You connect with other users entirely at your own risk.
• While we provide logs and dispute files, Milkman will not act as an arbitrator, mediator, or legal witness in disputes between independent milkmen.

8. Intellectual Property

All software architectures, graphics, layout templates, designs, APIs, and compiled code are the exclusive property of Milkman and its licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your private dairy operations. You must not sell, rent, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute our code or resources.

Ledger Ownership: You retain complete ownership and responsibility for the raw customer details and dairy records you input into the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

Because the Service is provided entirely free of charge, Milkman is provided on an **"AS-IS"** and **"AS-AVAILABLE"** basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Milkman, its developers, and partners are **not** liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, loss of ledger records, device failure, or business interruptions resulting from using or failing to access the Service.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if you violate these Terms, generate invalid ad clicks, engage in M2M dispute abuse, or attempt to compromise app systems. You can delete your account at any time through your dashboard profile settings.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute, arbitration, or litigation arising from using this Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of **Hisar, Haryana, India**.

12. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will communicate material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes are published signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
